01: What got you into this fandom in the first place? Umm.... I think it was Jewell (or someone else) sent me their video of Dirty Cash and I liked it so I started watching more of their videos and I got hooked. XD

Timed Icon Meme

(1) Choose video (it can be of ANYTHING) you have on your computer. Make sure you're certain you want that one, you cannot change or mind once you skips this step. DO NOT TELL YOUR FLIST WHAT YOU CHOSE.

(2) Make note of how long the episode is here -> 5:48. 8D

(3) Ask your flist to choose a time between 00:00 and whatever the length of your episode is. Be specific, (ie: 19:11, 21:09, 02:42)

(4) Make them an icon using THAT FRAME ONLY no matter what it is. And remember, you can only use that ONE video you chose previous, even if the person posting isn't familiar with it.

random shoutouts?

Inspired by Tachi's post, this goes out to all my friends, whether they have an lj or not.

1. To Miso: My twinnu, my best friend, my fellow fangirl. What would I do without you? Probably have a much lonelier existence than I do now, I suppose. You give me something to look forward to every day and always keep me laughing. Don't ever ever ever change. ILUSM MY TWINNU!!

2. To Jennifer: You are the closest thing to a sister that I have. You understand and put up with me when I'm being stupid or depressed or completely out of it, and distract me when my mind starts thinking about things it shouldn't.

3. To Justin: You amuse the hell out of me and sometimes I think when I die it'll be from laughing so hard because you're willing to do stupid things just to make me laugh. Thanks for accepting me just the way I am.

4. To Kit: I know we don't talk as much as I would like sometimes, but you're still one of my closest friends. And eventually one day we will write amazing stories together.

5. To Tachi: I haven't seen you in forever, my lovely penguin, but just from reading your journal I can tell you're still as cool as you've always been. We should hang out one day or something.

6. To Jesse: Dude, without you, college would be boring as hell. Thanks for making it fun.

7. To everyone else that wasn't mentioned by name: Don't think I don't appreciate you all too. If I sat here writing things for everyone I'd take up so much room on everyone's friends lists that they'd hate me. Thanks to everyone for being totally awesome.

STEP ONE
- Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

- If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you. [Note: Your home address is not required!]

- Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post (it'll be public) so that the holiday joy will spread.

STEP TWO
- Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

-You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call. There are no guarantees with this project, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.
